The foul pole--defined as a vertical demarcation that marks fair territory from foul--is a home for discussions of baseball, politics, and whatever else is interesting. Of course, in baseball, the foul pole is actually fair territory. My hope is that this blog lives up to the relatively low standard of the foul pole’s nomenclature.

Super Tuesday: Yes We Can
Super Tuesday has finally arrived. Go out and vote if you live in a Super Tuesday state.
Brad is a diehard Red Sox fan, an assistant professor of political science at UNLV, a Terp and Huskie, beer connoisseur, a squish, a lib, a pretty good cook, and captain of his softball team.
